Wide eyes can make you look and feel younger and even more approachable, just look at how the eyes of MTV's A Shot at Love star, Tila, are the center of focus in the photo at left. Follow celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff’s secret on how she fakes larger eyes on clients such as Jennifer Aniston, Kate Bosworth and Drew Barrymore.
Dubroff swears by fake lashes. She prefers to use short, individual lashes rather than full strips. Instead of attaching the lashes to the outer corners of your eyes, as is commonly recommended, she places the lash clusters in the center of the top lids. By doing this, the placement of these lashes will open your eyes up.
How to Fake Larger Eyes in 10 Minutes:
Step 1. Start by curling your lashes.Steps 2-3. Next, apply two coats of mascara to your lashes.
Step 4. Finally, glue the fake lashes one at a time to the root of your lashes in the center of the top lids. Do not curl them afterward as it may cause the lashes to break off.
