Step 1. The first thing you want to do is either take a warm shower or apply a warm compress directly on the pimple to soften your skin.
Step 2. Next, gently wash your face to remove all makeup, dirt, and oil.
Step 3. Wash your hands! This will help prevent bacteria from spreading and infecting the pimple.
Step 4. Sterilize a needle. To do this, wash the needle with some dishsoap and then submerge it in either rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide for 30 seconds.
Step 5. Use the sterilized needle to gently prick the white tip of the pimple.
Step 6. Either wrap pieces of tissue around your index fingers, or use the ends of two Q-tips, then apply gentle pressure to the sides of the pimple to remove the puss.
Step 7. When clear fluid or blood come out, stop squeezing the pimple.
Step 8. Apply a topical acne treatment containing benzoil peroxide or salicylic acid.
